The perfect table plan is recommended to be simple yet elegant but should also match your wedding decor and theme and to be placed upon entrance to the area in which you are holding your wedding celebration meal. It must show some essential information such as the name of the guests, the name or the number of the table and a welcome message addressed to the guests.
Your plan could be printed in paper, plexiglass or a mirror, either resting regally on an easel, or fixed to a ladder or floating delicately on suspended wires… Let your creativity talk for you!

Thank-you cards – Show your appreciation
After spending all your wedding day surrounded by your loved ones, you just want to thank them for making this special day even more special and memorable. This is what thank you cards are all about and they are perfect way to show your gratitude for them sharing one of the best days of your life with you.
A few tips to offer the best thank you cards your guests will ever have:
- It is always best is send handwritten thank you cards, this simple thing will make the gesture so much more special and meaningful.
- Personalise your card to who you are writing to, mention any gifts you received from that person, if you received a monetary gift then it’s best not to mention the amount, but you can tell them what you plan to do with it.
- Be sure to remember to send the thank you card within a month, 2 at most after your wedding and be sure to sign off using your married name! Make sure that you have already all the addresses of your guests written in advance to make this easier for you.
- It is always nice to send a thank you card to your vendor and any suppliers you used, this is a nice touch and always appreciated.
Favours – A keepsake for your guests
Your wedding favours tend to be a small token of your appreciation for their sharing in your special day. Traditionally guests would receive a small bag or box containing 5 sugared almonds representing the five blessings of Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility although anything goes these days, remember, it’s your day, you get the choice!
If having children at your wedding it is a great idea to personalise their gift, something which they can enjoy and entertain themselves with which is two-fold, keeps them happy and also lets the parents relax a little as there is a distraction.
